I grew up in London and moved, with my wife to Worcester in 2012. We have two primary school-aged children and moved to the local area two years ago. We got married in the local Martley parish Church in 2010. I was a school governor in a primary school in Fulham, West London for two years. My wife’s family live in Broadwas she and her sister were pupils of Broadwas school in the 1980s.
My background is working with children and young people in different settings over the past 20 years, including pupil referral units, SEN schools, colleges, youth centres, youth parliament, care leavers and residential care for Worcestershire county council. Over the past two years, I have managed children's care homes in Birmingham. I have experience in delivering and designing programmes and interventions for children and young people at risk of offending.
I currently work for a charity as a manager for a semi-independence accommodation provision for vulnerable children and young people in care in Gloucestershire.
As a foundation governor, the Christian values of the school and warmth is evident in every aspect of the school. It is a blessing to be able to contribute my experience professionally and also as a Christian to the school representing the Diocesan Board of Education.
